The five members stepping out of the executive management team will remain in central roles at OKEA.

His experience and strategic capability will be an important addition as we are entering the next phase of OKEA’s development,” said Svein J. Liknes, CEO.
The new members of the OKEA senior leadership team:
Nikolai Lyngø joins OKEA to lead strategy and business development. Lyngø brings more than 20 years of experience from the Norwegian and international oil and gas industry. He previously served as CEO of Sval Energi, where he led the company through significant growth on the Norwegian continental shelf. He has previously held leadership roles in strategy and business development at Equinor, including Head of Corporate Strategy and Head of the CEO’s Office.

I am excited to join the company at a time when the ambitions are being raised, and to contribute to the next phase of growth through exploration, production and value-accretive transactions,” said Nikolai Lyngø.
Andreas Grøntvedt also joins the executive management team as SVP Partner-Operated Assets & Commercial. He previously worked as VP Strategy & Commercial at OKEA and has spent the past two decades working across strategy, commercial, and finance functions in the Norwegian and international oil and gas industry, including roles at Aker BP, Det Norske, and Marathon Oil. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
